Getting started with Kivvie

Kivvie takes about two minutes to set up. You approve YouTube channels from the parent dashboard, and your child watches only those channels on the mobile app. Here is the full flow.

  1. 1

Sign in on the web dashboard

Open kivvie.app in any browser and sign in with Google. Sign-in uses standard Google OAuth, scoped to YouTube channel search. We never see your password.

  2. 2

Create a profile for each child

Add a profile per child. Each profile has its own separate list of approved channels, so children of different ages can have different content.

  3. 3

    Approve a few channels

Search any public YouTube channel from the dashboard and approve it for a child. Three to five channels is a good start. Nothing appears in the child app until you approve it.

  4. 4

Install the app and hand it over

Install Kivvie on the child device from the App Store or Google Play, sign in with the same account, and hand it over. The child sees only the channels you approved.
