Kivvie is a whitelist-only YouTube player operated by M2V2 Solutions Pty Ltd, an Australian company. Our product team writes the guides, research pages, and comparisons on this site.
Who creates our content
We work directly on Kivvie's parent dashboard and child apps, so we know how its setup, supported devices, channel approvals, Shorts removal, and accounts behave.
We are not affiliated with Google, YouTube, Apple, or the parental-control products we compare. Kivvie is our product, and that matters when you read our recommendations. We say when another product may fit better and link to first-party sources so you can check the details.
How we research and review
- We start with a parent's question. A guide should help someone make a decision or finish a setup.
- We check primary sources. For product controls, laws, and safety guidance, we look first to the product owner, regulator, or original research.
- We separate facts from our view. We distinguish documented behaviour and direct Kivvie experience from cautions and recommendations.
- We revisit details that change. YouTube, Family Link, Screen Time, and other apps keep changing. Pages show when they were published and materially updated.
- We correct outdated claims. When a control changes, we update the affected pages.
