Install Kivvie on iPhone and iPad
Kivvie runs as the child viewing app on iPhone and iPad. Parents approve channels from the web dashboard, then the iOS app shows only those approved channels with Shorts, comments, recommendations, and the normal YouTube feed removed.
Download from the App Store
Install Kivvie on the child's iPhone or iPad from the App Store. Sign in with the same Google account you use for the parent dashboard, then choose the child profile for that device.

Kivvie controls which YouTube channels are available inside the child app. Apple Screen Time can still control when the device is available, whether Safari is allowed, and whether the standard YouTube app can be installed.
For the cleanest setup, approve the channels in Kivvie first, then use Screen Time to limit or remove other YouTube access on the device.
